Which network security types are supported?

WPA and WPA2, WPA3, WEP, and open networks with no password. Pick the type your router actually uses — a mismatch makes the connection prompt fail even when the password is right.

Does the password get sent to your servers?

The Wi-Fi credentials are encoded into the QR image itself. They are stored against your account so you can regenerate the code later, and are never used to connect to anything on our side.

Why does my Wi-Fi QR code not scan?

The two usual causes are a hidden SSID, which needs the hidden-network flag set, and a mismatched security type. After that, check for special characters in the password that were mistyped when creating the code.

Can I print it on a table tent or window sticker?

Yes. Keep it at 2.5 cm square or larger, leave a clear white margin around the pattern, and avoid printing it on a glossy surface directly under a downlight, where glare defeats the camera.

Is it free?
