Scheduled QR Code Reports

The report arrives before the question does

Pick the codes, the frequency and the hour. A performance email lands on schedule with a PDF attached — in your timezone, whether or not anyone logged in.

Reporting that does not depend on remembering

Analytics dashboards only help the people who open them. The monthly campaign summary, the weekly note to a client, the daily check on a launch — these get done for a fortnight and then stop, and nobody notices until somebody asks a question nobody has the numbers for.

A scheduled report inverts that. You describe once what you want to know and how often, and the summary turns up in your inbox — and in your client’s, if you add them — until you say otherwise.

Your 8am, not the server’s

Reports are evaluated every hour and each one decides for itself whether its owner’s chosen hour has arrived, resolved against the timezone on the account. "Weekly on Monday at 8am" means 8am where you are, not 8am in a datacentre.

Sending is idempotent for each period. If a scheduled run is missed, the next hour that day still finds the report due and sends it; if a run happens twice, the second one is a no-op. A missed report is recoverable and a duplicate is impossible — which is the right way round, because a duplicate report reads as a product bug while a late one just reads as late.

One set of figures

The email and the attached PDF are built from the same report data, so they cannot disagree — and a report always covers the period that has just finished, never the one still in progress. A "last week" report that silently included three days of this week would be worse than no report at all.

What a scheduled report does

What the feature actually does, part by part.

Daily, weekly or monthly

Choose the rhythm that matches the campaign, and the hour it should land.

In your timezone

8am means your 8am. Each report resolves its hour against the timezone on your account.

PDF attached

A formatted summary you can forward or file, built from the same figures as the email itself.

Scoped how you like

Everything, one folder, or a single client’s codes — so the right people get the right slice.

Extra recipients

Send to colleagues or clients as well as yourself. They get the report without getting an account.

Never double-sent

Each period is marked sent before the mail goes out, so a retry cannot produce a second copy of the same report.

Questions people ask

Straight answers to what usually decides whether this is the right tool for the job.

What period does a report cover?
The one that just finished. A weekly report sent on Monday covers the week that ended, not the week in progress. Mixing a completed period with a partial one produces a number that looks like a trend and is not.
What happens if the server misses a run?
The next hourly tick that day finds the report still due and sends it. Each period is tracked separately, so a missed run is recovered rather than skipped, and a run that happens twice sends nothing the second time.
Can I send a report to my client?
Yes. Add them as a recipient and they receive the email and the PDF without needing an account. If they want to look at the numbers themselves between reports, a client portal link gives them a read-only page instead.
What happens if my plan lapses?
Sending stops but the schedule is kept. Access is re-checked at send time rather than at setup, so a lapsed plan goes quiet instead of losing the configuration you would have to rebuild later.
Which plans include scheduled reports?
